The Profiling Tool is a self-assessment tool based on the concept of the ESC-tension Multidimensional Matrix: one axis is represented by the university card typology (physical or digital) and the student services, the other one corresponds to the organisational/administrative dimensions and the related technical/technological aspects.
What is the goal
of the Profiling Tool?
Filling in this tool allows to describe the as-is scenario of the HEI in one single document, especially focusing on the integration of European Student Card (ESC), both concerning the compliance with the ESC standards and the service provision for the students recognised through their ESC.
Why do you need it?
This self-assessment tool is the starting point for the HEIs to monitor the adaptation process for the university cards and the student services to the ESC standards. It also allows the HEIs to have a tool introducing and presenting themselves to the the organizations involved in the ESC Initiative.
How to fill it in?
To fill in the Profiling Tool form is a very easy process. The data you will enter will be progressively saved so that you can stop and re-start filling in the form any time later. You will find several questions covering different aspects of your institution; this is why you might need the involvement of more than one person among your staff.
